Katara Cultural Village is a cultural and art center in Qatar, located on the east coast of the capital Doha. It was invested and built by the Qatari royal family and officially opened in 2010. The village houses auditoriums, museums, exhibition halls, parks, arts centres, theatres, concert halls, art schools and more, aiming to showcase Qatar’s culture, tradition and modern art. In addition, the Cultural Village also hosts the Qatar International Cultural Festival every spring, attracting artists and culture enthusiasts from all over the world.

Aizubara Castle
Al Zubarah Castle in Qatar is an ancient castle located on the northwest coast of Qatar. It was built from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It was once one of Qatar's most important commercial ports and an important maritime trade center that once attracted merchants and explorers from the Persian Gulf region. In the early 20th century, Alzubara Castle was abandoned for several decades before being repaired and restored in the 1980s. Today, Al Zubarah Fort is an important monument and tourist attraction in Qatar and is part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. In addition to the Alzubala Castle itself, visitors can visit the city walls, market, port and other ancient architectural ruins. Additionally, there is a museum showcasing various aspects of Qatar’s history, culture and traditional life.
