According to Parsons, he didn’t think much of the wedding thing but decided to go ahead with it to “legalise this thing."

The two wed on May 2017 in New York City’s Rainbow Room. Prior to the wedding, Parsons never felt the need to get married as he was fine staying as they are. He likened the experience of being together with Spiewak as ‘close to being with God.'
