When the theme is "Camp," and the attendee is RuPaul, the campiest drag queen out there, we'd expect to be blown away. RuPaul’s criteria for putting on his full drag attire is quite similar to the supermodels of the 90’s criteria for getting up and out of bed: only if there’s money involved. “I do it if someone is paying me to do it,” he said to Marketplace.

We do applaud the "Drag Race" host and producer for not taking the easy way out and showing up in an enormous dress. On the other hand, his striped sequin suit just wasn't enough.

Red & Blue

This dress is pretty and would work great for a red carpet or a movie premiere, but not for the Met Gala. Don't get us wrong, Jessica Chastain looks divine in this Prada gown. You can't really go wrong with blue silk, right?

The dress is beautifully constructed, and Jessica's makeup and hair are also spot-on; we just think she could have done more. Luckily, the star really managed to compensate for this at the 2023 “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” themed Met Gala. She exchanged her signature ginger head for platinum blonde, and she sported a stunningly sleek black dress.
