And any woman will let you know when you’re choosing a risky outfit for a grand night out, it's crucial to examine the look from all angles, but apparently, this actress forgot to do an obligatory twirl in front of her mirror before this event.

A sheer dress, or Gwyneth Paltrow’s slinky purple Prada mini dress she wore to the 2012 Met Gala, may make for some embarrassing moments on the red carpet – depending on how you feel about flashing the world. Still, the dress itself, while fairly simple, looks stunning on her, even if parts of her are pretty exposed.

From Top to…Feathers?

Beyonce’s Givenchy couture gown looks beautiful on her – from the shoulders to the thighs, anyway. The purple feathers just destroy the outfit which she chose for the 2012 Gala in New York. The theme for that year was “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations. We all know about Prada, but incase you didn’t know Elsa Schiaparelli was a fashion designer from an Italian aristocratic background who set up shop in Paris in the late 20s.

The star’s dress got mixed reviews, with many not only disliking the feathers but also claiming that it was too sheer in some areas. Her sleeked-back ponytail and classic makeup look nice – and perhaps the dress would’ve too, sans the feathers. Especially purple feathers! Yikes!
