At first glance, this may look like just your run-of-the-mill VMA outfit with cool shades to match. However, on closer inspection, you'll discover that...yes, that is a snake wrapped around H.E.R.'s neck!

It's possible that the musician wanted to pay homage to the iconic snake moment that Brittney Spears created in her performance of "Slave 4 U" way back at the 2001 VMAs. On the other hand, it's more likely that H.E.R. has a penchant for potentially "Toxic" accessories.

As a former professional wrestler, Joanie Laurer, aka Chyna, has worn her fair share of ridiculous costumes. Outside of the ring, you would imagine that she would have wanted to wear something couture rather than a costume, but you would be wrong.
