Since 1995, Bellingrath Gardens and Home has been the place to see holiday lights in Alabama, and its display lives up to the reputation with more than 1,100 set pieces and three million lights spread throughout the 65-acre estate. The Bellingrath Gardens' Magic Christmas in Lights display runs from the day after Thanksgiving to early January (closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day), with whimsical displays like Christmas Tree Lane, Candy Land, Fire & Ice, Gumball Grove, and Christmas Corridor. Get your picture taken with Santa in the Magnolia Room or tour the historic Bellingrath Home, built in 1935, while you're there.
